
Following a brief teaching career, Phomolo Mohapeloa joined the civil service in 1980 where she held various positions which included the Director of National curriculum Development Centre and Director of Youth Affairs which was her last assignment in government. In 2003, she became the Executive Director of an organization coordinating children’s rights and related issues in Lesotho where she coordinated and worked hand in hand with about 50 child minded organizations and partners, local and international, advocating for children’s protection and welfare legislation and other related issues etc. Her formal training is in education with a master’s degree obtained from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne in the UK.
