Mary Opare
Mary Opare is a Registered Nurse with a Diploma in Education, a Bachelor of Arts and a Masters in Nursing, she is also an FWCN and STTI. She has been working as the Acting Dean of Nursing and a Senior Lecturer at the University of Ghana, Legon. She is a founding member of the Ghana Palliative Care Association and the co-ordinator and Director of Palliative Care Training in Ghana. She is a palliative care advocate in Ghana and is Deputy Director of Palliative Care Ghana which is an NGO providing home-based palliative care. She has been on the Board of APCA since 2004.
