Emmanuel is currently the Centre Director and the Director of Clinical Services at The Mildmay Centre, Kampala, Uganda. A medical graduate of Makerere University, he has a Masters degree in family medicine and a Masters degree in Public Administration, the latter from the School of Public Management and Planning, University of Stellenbosch, South Africa.
He has presented at multiple national and international conferences. His research interests include: the use of qualitative methods in medical research, especially in the HIV/AIDS field; management of health care services in relation to HIV/AIDS; and the use of the family approach in managing chronic illness.
